Chapter 21/Grammar; Achieve; Silent Reading

Dear, wonderful students,

I am not on jury duty today, but I am at the district office going over your common assessment essays :).  I hate to be out of the classroom two days in a row, but you are in the very capable hands of a wonderful sub.  Please work hard to make the day go smoothly!

In Social Studies I would like you to finish 21.4 and then read 21.5 (page 212) and finish those reading notes (p.151).  We will resume the philosophy "activity" tomorrow.

In English, you will have the period to work on Achieve or read (ORVF is due in a few weeks (March 14), and finish the Preposition packet in your Grammar folder.  Turn them in today or take them home to finish and I will collect them tomorrow.

Grammar reminders:

  1. Use pencil
  2. cross out prepositions and prepositional phrases FIRST
  3. underline subject once
  4. underline verb twice

Miss you already!
