"Preserve and Pass Along" activity/ Flip Grid Book Reviews/ Project Reflection

Essential Question:
What are the central teachings of Judaism, 
and why did they survive to modern day?

GOALS:  

  • To participate in the activity by following directions
  • To read 12.1 and 12.2 and complete the corresponding Reading Notes 

Agenda: 

1. Read Section 1, Introduction; then be prepared to answer the following:
  • What happened to the kingdom of Israel after it split into two nations?
  • What does the word diaspora mean?
  • What event marked the beginning of the Jewish Diaspora?What did the Jewish 
  • Diaspora signify for Judaism and its followers?

2. Experiential Activity: "Preserve and Pass Along" activity.
During the activity, you should read the chapter and work on your reading notes :).

Reminders/Homework:
  • Test Chapters 11 and 12 Wednesday 1/24
