Hero's Journey Act I/Gallery Walk

Humanities: English/Social Studies

Goals:
Our learning goal is for everyone in the class to be able to understand the steps of the Hero’s Journey and apply the model to different stories we have heard, books we have read, movies we have seen as well as to our own lives.

    Social Studies 
    Goals:
    You will tour the room in order to view the masks and read the poems.


    • Take notes on the masks and bio-poems.

    Essential Questions:
    • What do we share?
    • What makes us unique?
    • What is our classroom identity?

    • Set up your exhibit. Include your bio-poem, your mask, and your title card.

    REMINDERS/HOMEWORK:  
    • Bring a book to school every day 
    • Finish your mask and glue it on the red construction paper!
